What we know about you.
Everything this program holds on a creator, why it holds it, who else touches it, and how to make it go away.

We collect what the program needs to send you a box, give you a code, count what it earns and pay you for it. That is the whole of it, and it is set out below field by field.
- Your handle, your platform, and what is public about your account
- This is how we found you, and for most creators we had it before we ever wrote to you. It comes from creator discovery services and from your public profile: the handle, the platform, rough audience size and engagement, a location if the service has one, and a business contact address if you publish one. We use it to decide who to invite.
- Your email address
- To send you your code, the link to your kit, and the occasional update on where the product is. It is also how we reach you about your money.
- Your shipping name and address
- To send you a box. It goes to our store on Shopify as a real order so the box actually gets picked and shipped.
- Your confirmation that you are 18 or older, and when you gave it
- We are a supplement brand and we do not ship to or pay minors. We record that you confirmed it and the moment you did, which is not the same as verifying it and is not treated as if it were.
- Your payout method and the handle or address to pay
- To actually send you money. A PayPal email, a phone number or a Venmo handle. We never ask for and never hold bank account details.
- A W-9, if you get near the reporting threshold
- Because we cannot issue a 1099 without one. We keep the document you send us in private storage and we record that it arrived. We never store your tax identification number: not your SSN, not an EIN, not in any field of this application.
- Clicks on your tracked link
- So your kit can show you that people are clicking. A click is recorded as your creator record and a timestamp, and nothing else. We do not record who clicked, what their address was, or where they went next.
- Orders placed with your code or through your link
- To work out what you earned and to pay it. We record the order, what it was worth, whether the buyer was new to us, and what it earned you.
- A little about the buyer, on orders attributed to you
- The buyer’s email, name and shipping postcode and street are recorded against the order. It is the only place a customer is visible to this system, it is deliberately that narrow, and it exists so we can tell a real sale apart from somebody buying on their own code. It is never shown to you and never shown to any other creator.
- Your link name, left in the browser of somebody who follows your link
- When somebody follows your tracked link we put your link name on the address we send them to, and the store remembers it in their browser for 30 days, so a purchase they make a few days later is still credited to you. Our redirect also sets a cookie of the same name on our own domain, which is left over from an earlier version of this and is not read by anything. All of it holds your link name and nothing about them.
We never store a tax identification number. Not an SSN, not an EIN, not in any field of this application. If you send us a W-9 we keep the document in private storage and record that it arrived. Nothing in the app reads a number off it.
We never ask for bank details. Payment goes through PayPal, which means we hold the address you told us to pay and nothing behind it.
We do not track who clicks your link. The redirect records your creator record and the time, and that is the entire row. There is no IP address, no device fingerprint and no profile of your audience anywhere in this system.
We do not sell any of it, and we do not share it for advertising. The only people who see it are named in the next section.
- Shopify
- Runs the store. Your gift is a real order there, so your shipping details go to it, and every sale on your code is recorded there before we ever see it. Your discount code lives there too.
- PayPal
- Pays you, and reaches Venmo. We send them the amount and the address or handle you gave us. They tell us what became of each payment.
- Resend
- Sends our email. Your address and the contents of the message pass through them.
- Supabase
- Hosts the database and the private storage that everything above sits in.
- Vercel
- Hosts and serves this application.
- Influencers.club and Modash
- Creator discovery. This is where the public profile information at the top of the list comes from, before you have heard of us.
- Social Snowball, and Zapier
- A referral platform we used to run this program on, reached through Zapier. It is retired. We no longer send it anything and nothing here reads from it. If you joined while it was running it may still hold your name, your handle and your email as an affiliate record, and we will ask them to delete it if you ask us to.
We keep your creator record for as long as the program runs, because it is what your code, your kit and your balance hang off. If you leave, we keep what we have to keep to show who we paid and why, which is what a tax record is for.
We are not going to quote you a number of months. There is no automatic deletion schedule running anywhere in this system today, and a retention period in a policy that nothing enforces is a sentence written to sound reassuring. What is true is that we delete on request, by hand, and that is described below.
Email founders@drinkrefuse.com from the address we have for you and tell us what you want. A copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion. We will answer within about 2 working days and we will tell you exactly what we did.
What we can remove: your creator record, your handle and email, your shipping address, your payout details, the W-9 document if we are no longer required to hold it, and the discovery information we gathered before we ever contacted you.
What we cannot remove, and why: an order Shopify has already recorded, a payment PayPal has already made, and the records we are required to keep to account for money we paid you. Deleting your record does not delete your code out of the store, because orders already placed on it have to keep making sense. If you ask us to delete you, we will say which of these applies to you rather than telling you it is all gone.

Anything about this page, or about what we hold on you: founders@drinkrefuse.com. There are two of us and we both read it.
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we post the new version here with a new effective date and email you. The deal itself, what you earn and how you are paid, is a separate document: the creator program terms.
